Sunflower thank you

                                                       TEA AND COFFEE POT CARDS

Happy Wednesday!
I hope your week is going well for you. For me it's kind of flying by and I am trying to catch up, as on Friday I am flying to Dallas, TX for work where I will be for about 10 days. But don't worry, the Color My World class will start on time (maybe a day or two earlier).
And on more exciting note the catalog sneak peek pre-order period starts tomorrow and the Blendabilities markers (some of them) will be available to pre-order. I am really excited about that. So as soon as I get them I will be showing you samples and technique videos.

And for today I will leave you with a sample that I made using retired set called Sunflower Serenade. I used my FAber-Castell Polychromos to color the image. The image is stamped on Crumb Cake cardstock and cut with Lil Inker designes die and matted with More mustard (retired) card stock. The base is Early Espresso.
At the end I have few pictures showing you the steps of adding color onto the image and layering the colors.

Hello Baby

                                                       TEA AND COFFEE POT CARDS

 Hi all,
Last night I attended the Catalog Premiere here in Atlanta and it was wonderful, here are few pictures from it.
The catalog cover and the stamp set we received at the event. You are going to LOVE the new catalog.

And now onto the project. I made this one for different baby shower (then the one I talked about yesterday), this was for a co-worker who is having a baby in about 4 weeks. We had a little baby shower for her, so I made a card with a gift card holder inside. I had completely forgot about the baby shower until the day before, so I just got a gift card for her.
I used the embossing folder from SAB and Zoo babies set. The embossing folder is carrying over to the new catalog!
The stitched edge is a die from Lil' Inker designs and the gift card holder is PTI die.

I will post the supplies and instructions little later. ;)

Happy Elegance

Hi all,
I disappeared again. Friday was a busy day, as we attended a Memorial Service for a dear friend. And after that I didn't feel like doing anything. So I didn't even get around to posting. Though daycare had a Parents Night Out, so we did actually went out with Sean. First we went to Spice (Tapas and bar) and had some good seafood tapas, and then went to Cheesecake Factory for desert. Then Saturday we went to a baby shower (I will share the card I made tomorrow or Wednesday), so that consumed my whole day, and then yesterday Church and an event after church....and it's Monday again.
Anyway...here's a project I made using some of the retiring items. I cut the purse using my Silhouette Cameo

April Paper Pumpkin

Hi all,
Today I have something to share that is not card. It's April Paper Pumpkin. It arrived on Friday and I had to put it together right away on Friday night. I love the little frame and all the elements. And then I realized that I can put my little Aquabord stamped image in the frame and it looks great!

Enjoy!

Watercolor Thank You

Hi all, and Happy Wednesday.
Sorry I disappeared for couple days. I have been fighting stupid allergies and my 8 month old one has ear infection and sinus infection...so I have been busy with her and never got around posting. This week is a week to show appreciation to SU! Demonstrator support, so I decided on a Thank You card. Demo support is wonderful! ( #weloveDS ), they are always there to help up and work tirelessly.
You can scroll down for the supplies and instructions sheet.

Happy Easter!

Hi all and Happy Easter!
As I promised yesterday I have couple Easter cards for you today. (I will post the supplies and instructions tomorrow). For the first one I used all SU! current items, the Eggstra Spectacular (I think that was the name) set from the Occasions mini and the Calypso Coral celebrations add on kit.
The cards on the bottom I made 2 years ago to send to my family with picture of our 5 month old at that time (now 2.5 yr old), and never got around sending them (the card is a CASE from Nicole Heady from PTI), so this year I finally sent ONE of those cards! It's improvement. :D
Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Pleasant Poppies aquabord

Happy Saturday!
Today I have something little different to share. It's a little panel that I stamped on the background stamp Pleasant Poppies with Jet Black Staz-on and used Derwent Inktense Pencils to color the images. These are permanent watercolor pencils, so once it dries you can apply another color and the first layer won't bleed into the 2nd. Perfect for layering (as well fabric coloring). The panel I stamped on is Aquabord  and comes in different sizes, mine was 4" x 4" and came in pack of 4. These are meant for watercoloring, so that's what I did.

This is a quick post, but I will be back tomorrow with some Easter cards :)

Display Stamper Sumbissions

Hi all,

I don't have a new project today, but I am sharing some picks from my projects from before for the Display Stamper "contest" for Convention. So here's are my picks of my work (3 cards. 2 3-D items and one scrapbook page). I have been lately into watercoloring, so tried hard to select varieties of cards and not all of them to be watercolored. As well the 3-d frame is a hybrid project :) I used MDS to print all the accents.

It's really hard to chose only 3 cards, there are so many that I like that I have made in the past (and there are as well so many that I didn't really like) as well as 3-D items. Oh well...I'll do my best to represent my style.
